Zavi is committed to respecting the privacy of all users (“users,” “you”) when using the services we provide, which we generally refer to as Zavi or Zavi services.
This policy explains the information we collect from you in connection with the Services, how we collect and use your information, with whom and for what purposes we may share your information, and the choices you can make about our use of your information, as well as some of your options for managing your data with Zavi.
This policy may be updated periodically because our business, or regulations that apply to Zavi, may change. If we make any material changes to the way we handle personal data as described here, we will notify you by posting an updated notice on our website. We encourage you to review this page regularly for the latest information on our privacy practices. The effective date at the top of this policy indicates when the policy was last revised.
We obtain data when you use Zavi in order to deliver our services and provide a better experience to you. The categories of data we obtain when you use Zavi include data you provide to us as well as data that our system collects from you. When we say “customer”, we mean the person or company that signs up for and has the account with Zavi. A “host” is someone who can host meetings under a customer account. “You” or “user” or “participant” is anyone who uses Zavi. (“You” and “user” may also include customers. Some of the information below applies only to customers, though, and we use “customer” to highlight those places.)
In general, we collect Personal Information in connection with the provision of the Services. There are certain Services that are only provided to users who have established an account with us ("Account"). To register for an Account, we require that you provide certain Personal Information.
We may also collect Personal Information about you when you sign in to Zavi app or using a Zalo account.
We may also collect Personal Information that you submit to us voluntarily when you correspond with us or interact with the Services. We may combine your Personal Information with information we receive offline, such as when you interact with our customer service group, or that we obtain through third party sources.
Your use and/our account registration will constitute your agreement to our policy and your full agreement to to the scope and purpose of our use, handle and collect your Personal Information as set forth in this policy. However, if you decide not to provide such information, then you may not be able to use or purchase the Services. At any point, you may access, review, and modify your Personal Information from your Account, or by contacting us at the number provided below.
We may collect and store information during your use of the Services, including but not limited to domestic and international audio, web and video conferencing services, live chat, voicemail, audio, web and video recording, voice broadcasting services and other voice and messaging services. Such in-session information is protected by the use of end-to-end encryption and only accessible to those users you invite, or with whom you otherwise choose to share information. You will have the ability to record, store, and access information related to your use of the Services, and we will not access this information except as may be necessary to support the Services and anticipate, diagnose, or resolve problems that may limit or disrupt the Services, or as may be required by law.
Please be aware that any Personal Information you provide to other users during your use of the Services can be collected, used, maintained, shared, or disclosed by those users, and we are not responsible for the collection, use, maintenance, sharing, or disclosure of data and information by such users.
We use data to detect, investigate and stop fraudulent suspected, harmful or illegal activity. We also use data to comply with our contractual and legal obligations, resolve disputes with users, and enforce our agreements, if needed.
When you use Zavi, some data will be disclosed to other participants and to the meeting host. For instance, when you attend a meeting, your name might appear in the participants list. If you turn on your video camera, your image will be shown. If you send a chat or share content, that can be viewed by others in the chat or the meeting.
Customer content, including information shared during meetings, information about participants in meetings and any recordings of meetings, belongs to our customers. Customers may use this content, which may include personal data about participants, for their own purposes. Customers may also receive data we collect (for example, participants’ names) when they generate Zavi dashboards and usage reports for themselves.
We may also disclose data when we respond to valid legal process in order to comply with laws, procedures, orders, requests of courts, government authorities or other legal entities. Zavi may also disclose data when reasonably necessary to preserve Zavi’s legal rights and benefits.
We will retain personal data collected for as long as required to do what we say we will in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Customers can delete their own content.
Zavi exercise reasonable security measures to help protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of your Personal Information. We use a combination of industry-standard security technologies, procedures, and organizational controls and measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
Despite such efforts, however, please note that no company, including Zavi can fully eliminate all risks or guarantee absolutely the security of your Personal Information; unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of information about you at any time. Consequently, we do not guarantee absolutely the security of any information you provide to Zavi.
Therefore, we recommend you take every precaution in protecting your data when you are on the Internet. For example, change your passwords often, use a combination of upper and lower-case letters, numbers, and symbols when creating passwords, and make sure you use a secure browser.
